State partially approves Larimer County variance request to safely reopen ahead of State orders
The Estes Park Town Board has enacted an emergency ordinance through June 10 requiring the use of face coverings by everyone in public areas of any business within Estes Park town limits -- including employees, vendors and customers. Businesses are responsible for ensuring these requirements. In addition, the Town's ordinance also requires the use of facial coverings when outdoors in the Commercial Downtown zoning district. A campaign is underway to support businesses with storefront signage, and to install outdoor signage. Materials will be posted at www.estes.org/covid-19 as soon as they are available. The Town's order is similar to the public health order issued by Larimer County May 3, except the local order adds the outdoor requirement for downtown.
